My dogs are now vegetarians. They will be vegan in January. I just don't have time to make them food while we move. A lot of people have been giving me guff about the issue. But if I'm going to preach about animal welfare and such things, I can't go out and buy my dogs factory farmed dog food made from chicken by products. And it's cheaper to make it from scratch! $100 for 6+ months of dog food. DOUBLE WIN!

Oh! And I have to mention what an amazing job I have. This weekend we had a "Cellar Sale" on all of our high end wines. This means I got to taste and drink $50 - $150 wines all weekend! Love my job. But trying to get average Joes to appreciate an Imperial Stout tasting is a challenge all in its self.

I'm really getting into my health lately. 30 mile gourp bike rides mondays. 3-5 mile WFM runs tuesdays. The rest of the week is hill training and mountain bike practice. And I've been trying to eat more raw and such. It's been good. I love it.

Then next Midnight ride is a Cosby sweater ride, and the girl who runs it asked me to take pictures. I was very flattered.

I want to get tattooed soon. It's been so long, and my leg needs work. Cuddle fish and Nautilus need to happen stat.

I'm moving in January. About half a mile up the street. A great friend of mine needs roommates and I think she'd be a lot of fun to live with. Vegan, bike building, gardening, and sewing houses are what I dream of in a room mate. And she wants to help Brian brew...that's their thing. And we save money!

Exciting things to come. I can't wait for stuffing in two weeks.

Does anyone watch Glee?? My god it's amazing! I can't get enough.

Noooooo more Dales Pale Ale at bars. I couldn't even ride me bike home last night. That's bad. BUT I did get hang out with one of my most favorite musicians of all time. ALL TIME! He was awesome, and sweet. I was drunk, and stupid. DAMN YOU DALES!

Has anyone seen the movie "Once??" A very cute romantic comedyish type musical. Well, it was a wonderful movie. And I just found out the two main characters that ended up being each-others love interest in the movie, are in a band together. I find it to be the most adorable thing ever.

The music is a little folksy, but that's the way I like most music these days.

Watch the movie. Then look up The Swell Season (Which I'm sure you've seen all over Last.fm). I hope you are as surprised/amused as me.

The undead ride is tonight! I'm ready for fun!

I just stopped moving (besides sleep) for the first time in 7 days. It's been great. But I need an evening of easy whisky drinking.
I'm in Colorado Springs right now. I climbed to the top of the tallest point in town a few hours ago...by car...ha! It was so beautiful though. I could see Kansas and most of the Rockies. But whistling tunes made me feel like I was going to pass out.
My CS host took us to a beautiful, beautiful (!!!) waterfall covered in graffiti. And we added some more.
Denver was snowy, so we rode bikes many miles. I'm not comfortable driving in the snow...but bikes are ok.
Sorry if this sounds loopy/retarded...I'm whisky tipsy.

I have so many bruises from mountain biking in the snow! I feel like such a bad-ass.

Like I said before, so many pictures in about a week.

Sleepy now. And a drink in my sights. NEW MEXICO BOUND TOMORROW!!!

Is it weird to invest as much emotion in your pets, as your family?
Phobos is one my most favorite things in the entire world, I've always felt this, but it wasn't until this morning that felt the weight of it.
I woke at 5 this morning. As soon called his name and he didn't respond with an immediate snuggle, I knew something was wrong. I ran around the entire house, searched the front and back yard, screamed his name down the street. There was no sign of his cute face, no jingle of his dog tags. And I lost it. The tears started pouring and my breath grew shorter.
Just as I was about to have a panic attack, Brian the level headed one ran, into the house and found my phone with 6 missed calls.
It turns out Phobos escaped the back yard while I was sleeping and found a local house party to chill and drink beers at. I should have known. He is very social and loves people with beer.

But in those 5 min of not knowing if he was ok, I felt like my world was collapsing around me. I know most people must think that as ridiculous. But I love my dog. I don't know what I'd do if I lost him. It'd be like morning family.

I need to sleep.

Whole Foods has offered a challenge to TM's who run, bike, and hike. Who ever puts in the most miles wins. Prizes! It's separated by male and female, which is good because their male full-time bike TM racks up about 500 miles a month.
I bike about 50 miles a week minimum. I'm going to bump it up to about 90-110. Maybe more. I'm pretty competitive.

This is awesome because it's a great excuse to get on my bike more and challenge myself. I'm going to post my millage here, along with mental health notes. They will be scrambled with other posts I make.

I need a hair cut. I mean a good one...long hair is hard to manage but I don't want to hack it off.
